Keeping your office booth in good condition ensures they deliver the best performance and longevity. Inbox Booths provide a quiet, private area for focused work, meetings, and video calls, contributing significantly to a productive work environment. Given their high functionality and modern features, it’s important to follow proper maintenance practices to make sure they remain in great condition. This blog covers some essential office booth maintenance tips to help you get the most out of your booths.

Key Features of Our Office Booths

Plug & Play

Setting up an Inbox Booth is simple. Just connect the power cord to the 120V outlet located on the booth’s exterior. Flip the power switch, and your booth is ready to use.

Dimmer

Adjust the booth’s lighting to your preferred brightness using the dimmer slider next to the on/off switch. This feature allows you to create the ideal ambiance for your work.

Fan Speed

Stay comfortable for longer periods with the adjustable fan speed dial. Whether you need a gentle breeze or stronger airflow, our control helps you adapt the air circulation within the booth to your liking.

Internet Connectivity

Access reliable and fast internet by connecting your booth to an existing CAT-6 connection. The port is located beside the on/off switch outside the booth. This feature is especially useful for users needing a hardwired internet connection.

Electrical Ports

Our booths come equipped with various charging ports, including USB, USB-C, and standard 120V outlets. In the ONE & ONE+ models, these ports are located on the wall, while in the QUAD & TEAM models, they are available on both the wall and the desk.

Motion Sensor for Lighting & Ventilation

The motion sensors in our booths automatically activate lighting and ventilation when movement is detected, conserving power when the booth is unoccupied. Note that each booth does have a manual switch that can override these sensors.

Lighting

Our lights offer adjustable colour temperature settings. Access the control knob beneath the plastic panel over the light to set your desired Kelvin level. Our TEAM and QUAD booths have additional LED strips for improved lighting, with independent on/off switches as well.

Air & Ventilation

The ventilation system in our booths allows for optimal airflow, with air vents facilitating constant circulation. Fresh air is cycled through the booth every three minutes, maintaining a pleasant environment. Regular maintenance of the fan (as outlined in the cleaning section) is important.

Moving Your Booth

Moving an Inbox Booth can be challenging due to its size and weight. If needed, we offer a moving kit that includes lifting tools and maneuvering wheels to safely and easily move your booth to its desired location. Contact our team for more information or to purchase a moving kit.

Emergency Tools

Emergency Glass Breaker: In case of an emergency, use the emergency glass breaker located in the top corner of the booth. This device allows you to safely exit by breaking the glass panels. Be sure to familiarize yourself with its location and proper usage.

Fire Sprinklers: Our booths include a pre-cut hole for integrating fire sprinkler systems. Note that the installation should be handled by a professional specializing in fire safety.
